It’s official now! Doraemon The Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur will be exclusively available in Golden Village Cinemas from 25th February 2021. Tickets are available for sale now. If everything goes as planned, Singapore will be having two Doraemon movies showing in cinemas at the same time this year!

Stand By Me Doraemon 2, as well as Doraemon The Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur were originally scheduled to be screened in Japan during August and March 2020 respectively and were being postponed for the first time in Doraemon’s movie history due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Following the postponement, Stand By Me Doraemon 2’s original release date in Japan, 7th August 2020, was then replaced by Doraemon The Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur. Stand By Me Doraemon 2’s release was then postponed to 20th November 2020 in Japan.

Due to the postponement of the movies’ release in Japan, the release of the movies in other countries, including Singapore were affected too. Doraemon Fan Club, Singapore has earlier predicted the movies to be released in Singapore during H1 2021.

With the confirmation of Doraemon The Movie: Nobita’s New Dinosaur’s release in Singapore on 25th February 2021, fans in Singapore can finally get to catch the movie in local cinemas!

At the time of writing of this article, there is no confirmed information on whether will there be any fan’s preview or mandarin dubbed version for the movie’s release in Singapore.
