Dear all past and present volunteers,
This year, we will be celebrating our 5th year anniversary since the club was founded on 11th June 2015. Doraemon Fan Club, Singapore started off as an online platform sharing key information on the latest Doraemon happenings in Singapore. The club then launched more services, bringing more to the local fans. We hosted online contests and lucky draw for various occasions, especially during the Doraemon The Movie season, which is also the busiest period for the club.
In 2017, the club launched its e-Commerce service as a trial to raise funds for the club’s operations. The e-Commerce service platform went through a series of refurbishments and major upgrades. In 2018, the club officially branded its e-Commerce service as DFCSG e-Store, the first major service under the DFCSG brand. At the same time, the latest platform for the service was revealed, having All merchandises and processes in One platform, providing A fuss-free and Seamless Experience to all users.
In 2019, the club went through a re-branding program which made the club more appealing to newer fans and the general public. In the same year, the club also launched a new project which targets to offer fans a better service platform to communicate with the people behind the club and with other local Doraemon fans.
We are finally at our fifth year milestone, and this would not be possible without the help of our volunteers who volunteered with us over the past few years. This year, our founder has decided to thank these volunteers who are volunteering with us now as well as some volunteers who have volunteered with us in the past. Eligible volunteers will be receiving a special gift as a gesture of appreciation from the club. Volunteers, past and present, who are eligible will be contacted by 1st June 2020. Although things did not go as planned this year, we believe that one day we could meet again physically for a celebration on us reaching this milestone. Till then, we wish you the best of health and let us fight through this pandemic together!
